Our Summer Schedule begins this Sunday!

Join us at 9am for worship in the Sanctuary or join us for worship at 10:30am at Lake Herman State Park.

See you this Sunday!

Here are some pictures from our worship service on May 13th. It was a beautiful day- a wonderful reminder that we are the church- inside and outside our building!

Friends and members of St John,

Sunday, we will celebrate our graduates in a reception outside in the church lawn on the south side.
There will be no 8am service, but we will have our 10:30am service outside on the south side parking lot.
Chairs will be provided, but all are welcome to bring lawn chairs. Remember a jacket in case it’s a little chilly in the morning.
New Beginnings will lead the music.
We will also have our teacher/adult leader recognition during the service- that would have happened last week.
Please spread the word!
See you Sunday! It will be a beautiful day to worship outside!
Pastor Elizabeth

Dear Congregation members and friends,

After the storms on Saturday night, the church basement was flooded with sewage and water. This includes the clothing rooms, storage rooms, Sunday school rooms, choir room, Trinity rooms, and hallways. We do not yet know the extent of the damage.

We have hired a professional company to remove the water, clean, and assess damage. That work is well under way.

We are so grateful for the many offers to help. We will absolutely need help in the future. For now, due to the contamination and toxins, it is unsafe in the church and it is best for the professionals to continue their work.  Please be respectful of the signs to keep out and wait until we get the all clear that it is safe.

We will have much to do then to repair the basement- and we will be glad for your help!

As of now, the clothing room is closed until further notice. The church is closed now, but we are hopeful that the main level and sanctuary will be ready for worship on Sunday. Wednesday night activities will be cancelled- but confirmation service projects will continue. Pastor Elizabeth will be in contact with information.

There will be no work day on Saturday, as scheduled, but watch for it to be rescheduled.

Thank you again for your offers to help. There are many people who are cleaning up and this is a good time to remember to Be The Church!

We will continue to keep you updated!  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Pastor Elizabeth directly on her cell phone.

In Christ,

Pastor Elizabeth

Due to flooding in the area, there will be no worship services today-

No NYG Meeting

No Mentor Event

PLEASE be safe!

One of these days, you’ll probably see the church van looking and smelling better than usual!

Our thanks to Greg Benda for a wonderful gift of sprucing up the church van- an item Greg won at the Bethel Foundation Auction last week.

Pictured here is Pastor Daryl accepting this wonderful gift from Greg.

Thank you, Greg! From all of us at St John
