I know it seems hard to believe that fall is coming when your thermometer says that it is 100 degrees. Think of this as a word of hope- that the Earth will eventually cool down!

As you plan for fall, here are the exciting things that are happening!
Wednesday nights will be filled with fun, learning, and growing relationships. We are starting a brand new Confirmation program, which promises to be a great experience for youth and adults alike. We are still looking for adult leaders, so please, call Pastor Elizabeth if you are interested!

Our schedule on Wednesday night looks like this:
5:00pm St John Community Meal (bring family and friends for this meal, free will offering)
6:00pm Worship On Wednesday (WOW)
6:30pm Confirmation
6:30pm Adult Education
(GREAT study on “The Story:Read the Bible in one seamless story from beginning to end”)
7:30pm Sept-Oct: Ready to Affirm Class for 11th Grade
Nov-Mar: High school Bible Study- subject and conversation determined by youth

All of these Wednesday night activities start on Wednesday, Sept. 15th.
Confirmation students, parents, and mentors will join us Wednesday, Sept 8th at 7pm for Confirmation Orientation and Acolyte Training!

We are also planning activities, retreats, lock-ins, and much more for the year.

God’s blessings to you in these last weeks of summer!

Pastor Elizabeth
