Dear friends,
I was reading my “Taking Faith Home” insert today and was thinking about the question, “In what ways have you experienced the Holy Spirit’s power in your life?”

In the spirit of caring conversation, I wanted to tell you about my experience with the Holy Spirit this past week, and encourage you to share your experiences, also!

Last week, the group of us that are going on the mission trip in July had a pre-mission trip service opportunity. We went to Sioux Falls and helped at the Center of Hope. This is a great ministry that serves the people in downtown Sioux Falls. We listened to stories and helped clean and organize. Our youth are so willing to help and listened intently to the story of a person who works with the Center of Hope ministry. The Holy Spirit was certainly at work in our youth that day- and continues to be in this wonderful ministry in Sioux Falls.

A special thank you to two wonderful members of our congregation who made this opportunity happen- and for supporting us in our mission trip next month!

So, friends- where do you see the Holy Spirit in your life this week?
